James Trainor

James Trainor is Senior Vice President at LevelBlue, where he helps clients manage complex cyber and technology risks. He joined the private sector after a distinguished career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, culminating as the Assistant Director of the Cyber Division at FBI Headquarters. In this senior executive role, James was responsible for all cyber investigations and played a critical part in devising the FBI’s national strategy to combat cybercrime. He led FBI agents and analysts through every major high-profile cyber investigation during his tenure. For his service, he is a recipient of the prestigious Presidential Rank Award from the Office of the President of the United States.
